MemCachier Hackathon: September 28th

We’re excited to announce that MemCachier is hosting a hackathon with WibiData and Thanx on Friday, September 28th, starting at 5pm. The goal is simple and the format is plain: build cool shit with other people.
Here are the details:

  • What: Hackathon.
  • Who: Developers and designers.
  • When: Friday, September 28th, 5pm. Hack as late as you want – most people will stay all night.
  • Where: see the event page (and please RSVP, too).
  • Parking: Street parking is in abundance at these hours.
  • Public Transit: WibiData is close to the 16th St. Mission BART station.

People are encouraged to arrive at 5pm. Pizza will be served at 6:30pm. Beer, snacks, and drinks will be available all night. You’re encouraged to:

  • choose a project you can finish in an evening.
  • work with other people – either bring a friend or team up at the event.
  • put your source on GitHub.
  • build something awesome.
  • not build work-related projects.

Please RSVP so we can know how much pizza to order. RSVP now.

The whole MemCachier team is planning on being there, we love working with Haskell (one of our founders hacks on the GHC compiler), Go and Ruby, so will be probably working with one of those languages if you want to get in on the action with us. We’ll see you on the 28th!
